You may have noted on the list the word 'art'. When I was a wee girl I drew and painted almost everyday. I painted birds, I painted sunsets, I painted flowers. I drew cowboys, horses and cattle.
Then this thing called college and the need for a job got in the way. From time to time I would pick up pencil or brush (once in a blue moon) and doodle. I would get so angry because the new drawings never looked as good as what I had done in the past. I'm very rusty. I realize I missed painting and drawing. Thus the goal!
Today Wade and I didn't do a darn thing but relax. After all it is Sunday. Where does it say we have to work everyday?? Show me that in the book! Anyhow I dug out my sketch book and fiddled with it. So here are the results....
Pencil drawing of a grey mare named May.
Pen and Ink of a bronc from a rodeo this summer.
So I like this one but dang I made this horse a huge head! I'am gonna try this photo again in pencil - hope for better results! But hey I am really out of practice - that what this goal is all about getting back with it.
Here are some past work that I have hanging around the house...
This last one was my senior art project at community college - its an oil painting. I did the entire thing with a pallet knife - no paint brush was used - on a piece of primed plywood board. Loved every minute of it.
What are some of your hobbies???

Wow!! Those are truly amazing!! You are crazy talented and I hope you continue to draw/paint. Also It's ok to relax every now and then but it's always so hard to find time to. LOL
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, awesome, amazing!!!!! You are so talented! Keep going!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Those are great, keep it up!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! I've also decided at least part of the weekends are for just relaxing around the house, I tend to be a much nicer person during the week if I get to just lay around and relax for a while on the weekends!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly, that is a great talent you have. The most art I did while growing up was doodling on the church bulletin during the sermon, it really did help me pay attention, and that's about the extent of my art career.
