Sorry for the self portrait I was having an awesome hair day - had to share!
Rockin' the curls and my big earrings!
25 things to do in the New Year. (In no special order…)
1) Have a family BBQ and more family get-togethers.
2) Go to another rodeo out of state. Options Wade and I have discussed – NFR, WSRRA finals in Winnemucca NV, Pendleton Roundup or Cheyenne Frontier Days.
3) Go camping in Yellowstone with some family and friends.
4) Practice baking bread and pie – and repeat. They must pass mom's approval.
5) Become a better rider and out rope Wade.
6) Plant a garden.
7) Make a big batch of Sangria for a family gathering…Yum!
8) Start running/jogging. Or maybe do some Yoga on a regular basis.
9) Try 1 new recipe each week .
10) Get a new car - well at least new to me.
11) Make a quilt.
12) Take my mom to see the state botanical gardens.
13) Print some photos – and finish a photo project or 3.
14) Take my sissy out for her 21st
15) Give my sissy an awesome bridal shower.
16) Buy a stock trailer.
17) Pray more.
18) Find some pasture to rent for our cows.
19) Save more money – which maybe hard to do given what I have written down on this list so far.
20) Start drawing and painting again/regularly.
21) Send more letters and cards .
22) Really learn how to use different functions on my camera. *Click*
24) Celebrate my next birthday in style – LOL not at a rodeo, well maybe depends on the rodeo and if there is dancing afterwards.
25) Look for new opportunities.
What are you goals for 2013? What would be on your list? If you write a post about it - please share it in my comment section - I would love to see what you got going on!!!

Aww Thank you Suzi! :)
DeleteCheyenne!!! You can come over for some coffee :D
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun! I think Cheyenne would be a blast! We could combine it with a trip to Yellowstone and cross two off this list! :)
DeleteI really loved this post!! I love lists and I love all of the things you have on yours! So basically a great big bunch of love from me!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz!!! :)
DeleteYou put together a really nice list of things to do. I haven't done a New Year's resolutions in a while.
ReplyDeleteThis year I did something more like words I want to live my live by. It is a concept from a guy named Chris Brogan.
Looking forward to seeing your progress.
That's cool!! What words?
DeleteGood luck!!
Good list, Elizabeth!
ReplyDelete2. NFR is very fun! I would advise to go with a friend or another couple that has been there once before and can show you the ropes.
4. I used to be afraid of yeast, now it's one of my favorites. Do you have a bread machine? I make my dough in the machine (b/c it's a controlled environment) and form it by hand. Check out my blog for tried and true recipes. If you have questions please feel free to ask.
I am working on pie too.
12. State Botanical Gardens ... that sounds like a photographer’s dream!
13, 17 and 22 I like them too! I printed out the function sections of my camera's manual. Now I need to sit down to read, highlight and practice.
Keep us posted on your list progress. Elizabeth.
No I do not have a bread machine - so I do everything by hand. My last couple of attempts failed. LOL they didn't rise! I will be on your page looking those over to be sure. Yes I went to the gardens several time in college for field trips (Botany course). She needs to see it! :)
DeleteAwesome list! Some of these need to be on mine. Definetly NFR! Awesome time. If you need help with the quilt making or the camera functions, let me know. Don't know it all, but can give some help. Have a wonderful 2013!
ReplyDeleteI will def. be needing help! Thanks for letting me know I can contact you!! You take awesome Farm photos! I love looking at them! :)
DeleteThank you! Contact me any time! Would be lots of fun! :)
DeleteThat is some list to get through. I will be keeping my eye on your progress.
ReplyDeleteShaun
It will be a job for sure. I figure the ones I don't make this year I can carryover to the next.
DeleteGood list, I can relate to a lot of these as well!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Awesome hair, starting off the year right :) I am a sucker for big earrings but am trying to dwindle down my collection so Wylie won't have as many to tear out of my ears. Reading your list is so motivating, I think I need to write one too! All great items, I would LOVE to learn to quilt someday, and I need to study up on my camera too- I think it has more potential than what I give it- I have had the instruction book laying out forever, one of these days I'll get to it
